How to unlock Yahoo! when account is blocked

Yahoo! usually will lock and account when someone enters an incorrect password for multiple times. Every time you login, you are login with cookie. When you attempt to log in your account for multiple times, Yahoo! logging with an incorrect password until your cookie expires. Thus, you will no longer allowed to login.

To unblock your account:
1. Search other Yahoo! servers and you will get fresh cookie.
2. Copy and paste the link below into your URL bar.
3. Login with the new server.

"Winamp has stopped working" after installing Leo's Lyrics

One of my friends have asked me about this problem. "Winamp has stopped working" message keep show up after you try to run Winamp in Windows Vista. Here step-by-step guide to repair the problem.

Symptoms:
After installing plugin for winamp:leolyrics

Step-by-step guide:

1. Go to 'Computer', then access your 'Program Files' folder.
2. Search and enter 'Winamp' folder to that folder. Go into the 'Plugins' folder.

3. Find this file name 'Gen_LeosLyrics.dll'.

4. Rename the file by pressing F2. Rename it other name for example 'Gen_LeosLyrics1.dll'.

Windows Vista SP1: April 28, 2009
Windows XP SP3: May 19, 2009

After April 28th, Windows Vista SP1 will be delivered via Windows Update. And after May 19th, Windows XP SP3 will also be delivered via Windows Update.

How to setting to enable Offline Gmail

1. Login to your Gmail account

2. Click 'Settings' and click the 'Labs' tab.

3. Select 'Enable' next to 'Offline Gmail'.

4. Click 'Save Changes' at the bottom.

5. Go to 'Offline' tab. On the 'Offline Gmail' section, select 'Enable Offline Gmail for this computer'. Click 'Save Changes' at the bottom.

6. After your browser reloads, you’ll see a new “Offline 0.1″ link in the upper right hand corner of your account, next to your username. Click this link to start the offline set up process and download Gears by click here if you don’t have it.

7. A windows will pop. Click 'Next'.

8. Tick the box and click 'Allow'

9. The process will start momentarily.

10. Now you can access you GMail offline. You will be prompted to choose to make a shortcut to access offline GMail.

How to remove AVG 8 completely to install Kaspersky

Kaspersky-Incompatible-Software-Installation

When installing Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) and Kaspersky Anti-Virus(KAV), do you see this error:

“Attention! Some incompatible software is installed on your computer. These applications cannot be used together with Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. In order to proceed with the installation, remove these applications.”

This Incompatible Software window will show during the setup process wizard. It will stop and prevent the installtion of Kaspersky product. AVG 8 is the most common listed application.

Symptoms:
You have uninstall AVG 8 program but Kaspersky wizard setup still detect AVG.

You have try using Registry Mechanic, Registry Booster, Your Uninstaller, CCleaner and more but still no luck to remove the AVG 8. Still can not install Kaspersky.

How to fix:

This is the screen that KIS gives you if AVG was installed before in you computer.

With some steps inside the regedit we were able to fix this.

1. Go to Start > Run.

2. Type regedit and click OK.

3. Navigate and delete his following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVG
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AVG8Uninstall

When installing Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) and Kaspersky Anti-Virus(KAV), do you see this error:

How to change the location of My Documents folder

'My Documents' is the most popular folder where computer users save all their files such as documents, pictures, videos, songs, movies and saved game files. Changing the location of 'My Documents' folder consider backup solution, you don't to copy all the files that you place on your 'My Documents'. Follow these steps to change the location of 'My Documents' folder:

Step-by-Step guide:

For Windows XP:
1. Right click 'My Documents' then select 'Properties'.
2. Go to 'Target' tab and under the 'target folder location', change the default drive(C:) to the drive letter of your second disk or partition for example (D:).
3. After that, click 'OK'.

Note:
As you can see from the image below I change the target location of 'My Documents' folder from 'C:' to my second partition which is 'D:'. This will automatically save all my files on drive 'D:' and I can access this files by going to 'D:' drive.

For Windows Vista:
1. Right click 'Documents' then select 'Properties'.

How to remove MS32DLL.dll.vbs and Hacked by Godzilla virus

This post will be step-by-step guide to remove MS32DLL.dll virus.

Step-by-Step guide:

1. Press 'Ctrl + Alt + Delete' together to open up 'Windows Task Manager'.
2. Click the 'Process' tab and find the process on the 'Image Name' column called 'wscript.exe'.

3. Press 'Delete' key after selecting the process.
4. After that go to 'Folder Option'. Select 'View' tab, check 'Show hidden files and folders' and press 'OK'.

5. Search for 'MS32DLL.dll.vbs' in your computer. Usually the virus files can be found in 'C:\Windows'. When you found the files, delete the files from your computer.

Note: Dont double click your C drive. Open your C drive by using right click. Then delete 'autorun.inf'.
6. Open 'Start Menu' by pressing Windows logo key.

7. Go to 'Run' , and type 'regedit' (without '') and press 'Enter'. Click here for more detail.
8. Navigate to the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ Software\ Microsoft\Windows\Current Version \Run

If you see any key for 'MS32DLL.dll', delete the key.
9. Next, navigate to the following path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

If you see Window Title with value 'Hacked By Godzilla' virus,delete the entry
10. Exit the 'Registry Editor' and Restart your computer.

Open 'My Computer', go to 'Tools'.

For Windows Vista:

Open 'Computer', go to 'Tools'.

2. Select 'Folder Options'.

3. When the 'Folder Options' windows is show, select the 'View' tab.

4. On the 'Advance settings' section, locate and choose 'Show hidden files and folders'. Untick also this option 'Hide extensions for known file types' and 'Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)'. Finally click 'OK'.
