How to repair corrupt Windows Vista files


Some Windows Vista error are caused by corrupt system files so making your system unstable ( blue screen of death(BSOD)). But to troubleshoot these problem is easy.

Step-by-Step guide:

1. Load command prompt using the run box. Press Windows key + R and type 'cmd'. (Click here to view the tutorial)


2. Type 'sfc /scannow' in the command prompt followed by the enter key.



  • sfc /scannow - To verify and fix any corrupt files.
Note: This also can recover when your hard drives can not be open.
