Panda Security released anew free antivirus program called Panda Cloud Antivirus. This antivirus will sends data about files to Panda servers on the Internet for scans instead of using fully of your PC's resources.
Panda Cloud Antivirus is based on cloud computing so the antivirus only installed partially on your computer and keeps the core files on a dedicated server on the Internet. If you don't have an Internet connection, it will scan using a cache of data on your PC.
Cloud Antivirus will block access and scan when a file is opened or a program is tries to run. Meanwhile, files sitting on your hard drive will be scanned when your computer is idle.
Panda Cloud Antivirus was designed for Windows XP and Windows Vista. Windows 7 will be available in the future.
