How secure are you?

Many companies or organization have backup and disaster recovery procedures but the neglect the most basic types of security. For instance, do you realize that laptop and computer companies are sitting unattended? It look like a small matter but a theft could be done everywhere even in the company or organization environment.

If university laptop or computers that contained personal information have been stole, it could expose thousands of individuals to potential identity theft. Encryption is one way to keep personal information safe from anyone.

Locking down your data and actual system is important when operating in a secure system. But most people does not realize of locking down the actual system because they believe the work environment is safe.

What kind of physical security measures does your company take? Are you doing all you can to protect not only your company’s data, but also your employees’ data? Is the client or customer information is well protected?
