Be careful out there to those people using iPod and Windows Vista.A Windows Vista bug that corrupt your iPod when using "Safely Remove Hadrware".This bug can be fix by download a patch or updates from Microsoft.
To be in the safe state just use iTunes to restore all your song and Micorosft also advice that use iTunes only.Use also iTunes to disconnect iPod.
