Mozilla has announced Firefox 3.1 beta 3 is out for user testing. Firefox 3.1 brings new feature including high-prefomance TraceMonkey JavaScript runtime, support for the HTML5 video element, and also rendering effects like support for using SVG filters on HTML.

I HOPE Mozilla managed to get the bloat out of Firefox that has caused me to cuss at it since I upgraded to 3.0. I have my doubts, however.
Prior to Version 3, Firefox was clearly the best browser out there. Now it's just slow.
